The Chimera (also spelled Chimaera) is a monster in Greek mythology. It is a mix between a lion, a snake and a goat. It is not limited to being a mix of lion, snake, and goat but can refer to and creature that is created with the traits and body parts of at least three animals/creatures (two animals and/or creatures will just make a hybrid). It is said to be the offspring of Typhon and Echidna. The Chimera is also rumored to be the sibling of theHydra and the Cerberus .
