The Basilisk is a legendary serpent of astonishing powers. Said to hatch from a chicken's egg incubated underneath a toad, this gigantic snake (over 100ft long in some cases) can kill you by looking you in the eye. If that fails, it's venom is extremely deadly and even one drop can kill you in a matter of minutes. This serpent is not without it's weaknesses, however, as the sound of a rooster crowing is fatal to it. If it looks at anything reflective it'll die at it's own reflection. It can also be killed by it's archenemy...the weasle.It is immune to the venom and the glare and it will bite the basilisk to death.
